Stampless folded letter, datelined London, without London postal markings, struck in transit through Belize with oval handstamp of ANTONIO MATHE / BELIZE / HONDURS, 13mm "4". charge mark struck in black, reported by Harper used between 1853-67, a scarce example of this forwarding agent marking, ex-Drs. Harper. Mathe was the official Guatemala Postal Agent in Belize.

(Feb 15), handstamped with boxed "PASSED / BY / CENSOR / 014", allocated to the 259th Battalion at Gornastai Barracks, to Oak Bay, Victoria, B.C., some creasing at one corner, unusually fine strikes; a rarity.
