Folded letter, with contents, franked with 6d mauve (Plate 8), tied by superbly-truck Newcastle-On-Tyne duplex (Dc 21), to Goteborg, Sweden, endorsed "Ostend" in manuscript at upper left, handstamped wih red "3d" and circular "PD", the former indicating the British Post Office' share of the postag, a lovely-quality cover to an uncommon destination.
