Folded cover, franked with 2-1/2d Victoria (S.G. 141, Plate 17), tied to folded cover by London duplex (Jan 23), endorsed "per Africa", to San Miguel, Tenerife, in the Canary Islands, Liverpool quartered c.d.s. backstamp (Jan 25), a lovely cover to a scarce destination, and an early usage of this plate, which went to press only the month prior.
