Folded cover, franked with 40c vermilion (Sassone 16Da), four margins, tied by neatly-struck Milano c.d.s. (1 Dec), "ITALIE LANSLEBOURG .. DEC. 63" entry mark struck beside, to Paris, France, with c.d.s. arrival backstamp (4 Dec) and Torino transit, a remarkably late usage, postmarked on the day of issue of the De La Rue adhesives of Italy, and in the last possible month of usage of Sardinian adhesives, wonderfully fresh and very fine; signed Vaccari.
