Folded cover, franked with 5c dark green and 10c bistre (Sassone 13E, 14E), each with four large margins, slightly overlapping, tied by neatly-struck Torricella c.d.s. in greenish-blue (24 Gen), to Naples, with c.d.s. arrival backstamped, a beautiful cover, showing a usage of Sardinian adhesives following the proclamation of the Kingdom of Italy; signed R. Mondolfo & Chiavarello with Enzo Diena certificate, noting "the letter is original and the stamp and its rare cancellation are perfect." (Sassone € 230 + 5'500)

Stampless folded letter, from the President of the College of Health of Salo, Lucrezio Bernardi, writing to "the Deputies for Health" of the city, nothing that the goods of one Settimo Scagini have arrived in the city, and having been "sterelized with smoke" may now be delivered to the intended recipients, with intact imprinted seal on reverse, includes translation and notes, an attractive and scarce seventeenth century document, well-suited for a medical or disinfected mail collection, or for the enthusiast of early Italian or European postal history.

Stampless folded letter, with contents datelined Constantinople, to Leyden, Netherlands, endorsed "port van Texel" and "by Capt Smith D:G:G:" (Die God Geleide, or "Whom God May Guide"), struck on arrival with Arms & Post Horn 6/S (6 stuiver) handstamp of the Amsterdam Texelse Post, established in 1706 to faciliate the conveyance of mails between ships anchored on the Rede and Amsterdam, thence onwards to other destinations, a rare entire of exceptionl quality.
