Canada USA 1918 WWI Redirected & Returned Soldier KIA Military Cover & Letter
Cover franked with 3c Washington, tied by Mesa, Arizona duplex, to Pte. Searle of E. Coy, 208th Battalion, CEF, oval Orderly Room datestamp, crossed-out and redirected to Canadian Records Office, Old Bailey, London, further crossed-out and handstamped RETURN TO SENDER with manuscript "Died" and "Deceased", with contents; private Searle who served in the 2nd Central Ontario Regiment, succumbed to pneumonia and died at Bramshott, and is commemorated on page 498 of Canada's Book of Remembrance.
