(31 Jan), to Santiago de Chile, red boxed "P.P." and blue-two line "Voie de Southampton / Voie de Panama", 80c pair further tied by red London PAID transit (2 Feb), red "25" Chilean tax mark at lower left, denoting the fee from Valparaiso to Santiago, no backstamps, adhesives with chiefly bright colour, small tear at left of 40c, a rare and most attractive entire paying the double rate to the Pacific Coast of South America; with 1998 von der Weid certificate.
