Canada 1943 WWII Return Deceased Soldier Military Cover Vancouver 6th Field Park
CP Railways cover franked with 3c War Issue, to Major Hugh Allan MacLean, 6th Field Parks Squadron, postmarked Vancouver (Jul 27), handstamped Return to Sender and endorsed DECEASED, Postal Corps /Directory Service, FPO and Ottawa MPO backstamps. Major MacLean served with the Royal Canadian Engineers, and died 1 September, 1943. He is bured at Brookwood Militay Cemetery, and is commemorated on page 185 of the Second World War Book of Remembrance.

(17.III), additional next-day Cataract Hotel strike, sent onwards to the Winter Palace, with Luqsor (18.III) and Luqsuor / Winter Palace receivers, lovely quality, striking and scarce.
