Folded cover, franked with four-margin 1861 2gr light blue, tied by neatly-struck Napoli Porto thimble (4 OTT), further strike on reverse, to Agnone via Isernia, lovely quality, extremely fine, ex-Provera; the stamps of Naples were declared invalid on October 1, however, they were tolerated for a period of two weeks following, a choice example used during this unofficial period.
