Tibet 1919 Registered KERONG COURT Cover to Kathmandu Nepal via Rasuwa/Trisuli
Stampless registered cover to Kathmandu, Nepal, with ornate seal of the Kerong Court on reverse, carried by runner to the Nepalese Post Office at Rasuwa, with Sun and Moon c.d.s. , Trisuli c.d.s. alongside, typical wrinkles seen on these envelopes, attractive strikes.
Under the Thapatail Treaty of 1855, Nepalese courts were established in the Tibetan towns of Khasa, Kuti, and Kurong, to handle legal cases involving Nepalese citizens. Mail from these courts was struck with the appropriate court seal, and carried with free-franking privileges by couriers to nearby Nepalese border towns.

Cover from Lhasa, Tibet, affixed with 1/2a King George V issue of India, cancelled Gyantse (5 May), Type 5, to Patan, Nepal, backstamped with oval "Katmandu" marking of the British embassy, pennant/flag manuscript mark of the Dhakwa merchant family, one of the most prominent Nepalese trading families operating in Tibet, a scarce and desirable Indian usage.

Turkey 1823 Netherlands Consul Smyrna to Belgium Stampless Forwarding Agent SFL
Stampless folded letter, with contents from the Consul of the Netherlands in Smyrna (Izmir), carried privately and endorsed on reverse in manuscript by forwarding agent L. Simoni of Constantinople (26 March), carried via Semlin where it was disinfected and backstamped, transiting further where it was struck with black TUR referring to its origin in the Turkish territories, remarkably fresh and fine.
