Bermuda postcard, franked with 1/2d Caravel pair, tied by St. George's c.d.s., from a Canadian solider, identifying information partially obscured by stamp (corner of which has been partially lifted), to Vernon, BC, with split-ring receiver (SP 9), rose triangular censor h/s applied overtop of addess, scarce military mail;  three Canadian infantry battalions served on garrison duty in Bermuda during WWI.

Real photo postcard depicting soldiers outside of their tents, franked with 2c Admiral, tied by NIAGARA MILITARY CAMP AU 5 15 ONT small c.d.s., to Hamilton; sender writes "this is our tent, don't say what is the matter with me as I was calling the platoon to fall in for dinner and they went too slow at doing it therefore the look..." A difficult strike on a lovely card.

Canada 1915 WWI R.C. Garrison Artillery Military Detachment St. Lucia Postcard
Postcard franked with 2c Admiral, tied by circular grid cancel, postmarked with Gordon Head BC split-ring, to No. 6 Coy, R.C.G.A., St. Lucia, B.W. Indies, with Castries c.d.s. receiver (30 Dec), edge wear and some staining, but a rare usage to a Canadian serving in St. Lucia; the Canadian Government sent ten officers and 105 other soldiers to St. Lucia, an important Royal Naval coaling station, arriving in April, 1915.
