YMCA cover, endorsed Canadian Soldier's Letter, postmarked Bramshott Camp (13 AU), struck with violet oval YOUNG SOLDIERS BATTALTION / CANADIANS / ORDERLY ROOM, to Calgary, some edge creasing, reduced at left, a rare regimental marking; the Young Soldiers Battalion protected boys who had enlisted before the proper age, and made their way to England or France, either returning them home or providing them with training until they were of age to fight.
